I have a D series. Does anyone know how to get the valve cover off the engine? In other words, the engine is so tightly packed into the frame that it seems that you have to take the cab off, which is ridiculaous.

fyi, my dealer doesn't even know how to do it

I'm not sure but I think you can remove the passenger's seat and there is an access panel that you can remove to get to the top of the engine. But I might be mistaken.
