Adjusting Tiller Depth

Got my 1500 delivered from Fredericks yesterday. I was out trying to till today. Got a question about tilling depth. Does running the handwheel all the way down increase tilling depth or decrease it? I had the wheel all the way up and it seemed to be tilling pretty deep.

Lower the rear two wheels for less dept
Raise them to go deeper.
