Fairly new to my DK45C and after a very long and hard weekend of really putting it to work I was loading it into the shipping container I store it in and forgot the cab door was open. Luckily the glass did not shatter but the door is tweaked and hard to shut. When it made contact with the shipping container I heard a squeal. I don't think that noise would come from the door frame bending, so I am wondering if the hinge has a slide adjustment where it meets the cab frame and maybe (hopefully) that was the squeal and I just need to loosen the bolts and realign.

I only go out to my property on the weekends so I have plenty of time to research and plan my attack to fix my stupidity. Any help or info would be appreciated. Thanks.

I tweaked mine a few years ago. In my case there was a heavy weight dropped from above, which knocked the door downwards. I put a jack under it and was able to push it up close enough that I had only adjust the hinges a little. Yes I was afraid I would pop the glass the whole time but I didn't. I thought about taking the glass off. Maybe you will need to do that.

I too wondered about jacking it up from the bottom as it appears the door got pushes down. In looking at the door, it looks like the glass goes all the way to the edges and the thick frame is closer to the middle. I thought about the jack method as well but worried the glass would not take the stress. I looked online and the glass is almost $1k! I am the cautious type and prefer to research rather than jump in and break stuff. Thanks for your real life input!

Posting a reply to my own thread in case anyone needs to search for the same issue in the future. I took off the side cover that hides the door hinges and there is no adjustment there. I used a hydraulic floor hack and 2X4 to up against the metal frame of the door to "carefully" bend my door back up. I got to where I was really uncomfortable with the pressure (did not want a $1,200 door replacement event) and it put it "mostly" back in place. It closed, but you had to slam it as the handle was still just a tad too low, but it closed. I was able to adjust the pin the door handle catch grabs when closed and drop it down a bit to match where the door handle was hitting it.

Crisis averted...
