just pull the pin on tilt joint Not recommended.... You can bend the heck out of your 3 pt hitch........

I think that Fallon was talking about the tilt pivot pin that some rear blades have for "ditching". Nothing to actually do with the hitch itself. This will allow the blade to float on an axis and works quite well for people that have that option. Of course the problem with doing that is that it is not a good idea to transport with the pin removed, you then have to get off of the tractor and re-pin the blade to hold it in place. ;)

Ya, the pin at the bottom middle of my blade that lets you tilt it side to side it you don't have a tilt cylinder on the hitch.

We all do that. Just remember that large bold print usually is received as the sender yelling. :)

Float on the tilt means your blade or whatever will follow the contour of the ground. I hear a lot of people with a back blade (and no TnT) just pull the pin on tilt joint on the blade so it follows. Float will get you the same thing.

Float also relieves pressure in the lines when the tractor is running & you are trying to hook up connectors that can't have any pressure in the lines for them to fit up.

I haven't found as much use for the float on the top link though. Fiddled with it a bit when hitching up (I have a quick hitch) & am undecided.

All of the joystick controls seem to add a lot of height to the valve hopefully you won't run into clearance issues . I mounted my valve close to where you did on my B2620

No clearance issues between the joystick, fender or my but. There was enough room on the L. I may have to get a touch creative for the 3rd function lever, which I haven't gotten around to putting in though. I clamped the joystick in a vice, heated it with a blowtorch & bent it a little to get a bit better setup.
