When you ask about a loader valve, are you wondering if it has regen? No it does not. And as far as I know of, loader valves are typically mono block valves, not stacking valves. Both spools have the float function as does 2 of the 3 in the set that Fallon has. By the way, the joystick is custom made to work with both valves having the float function. That is not a std item.

Brian, Thanks for answering that, I wasn't sure of the correct answer, sometimes people get a little more technical or sound more technical than need be. I am in no way an expert in hydraulics, in fact the total opposite, don't know jack diddly about it but I am learning a little...

No problem, thought that I would get it straight so that others that might be interested will know. ;)

That is sort of what I thought.

Surplus has that kit with two spool float valves in the stacked valve also.

Thats ok cause I already got one and I don't need two.... My intention of writing this article was to let those of us, like me, know that complete systems are available, heck if I was to try and add remotes I would not have any idea on what to order, for me I look at a place like Surplus and with there large selections of valves, rams, and fittings I get totally confused and would order the wrong thing, so when I talked to Brian at Fit rite he answered all my questions and took all the confusion out of it, and when he gave me a quote it was less than the gearmore quote by a long shot and included the hoses plus I was able to get what I wanted, heck I would not even know which rams to order. I have surfed this forum for a couple of months looking at different postings on top and tilts and quite often when I read what you have posted it just confuses me, you get to technical for a novice like me, no offence meant.

As long as you got what you wanted is fine with me.

You can shop anywhere you want as long as you know what to look for. I am sure Brian gave you his best deal, as he has helped others and they seem satisfied.

I am far from technical. I only point out what others are not seeing or perhaps understand.

I also point out where to find things, and hope to help those that have little assets, especially those that want to do it themselves.

Full factory hyd kits are available and some swear by them but are expensive. Brian's kits serves the middle market and a good alternative at a lower price.

The products I suggest are from good manufacturers and will usually serve the intended purpose at a great savings.

I have no interest in making anything off anyone. You simply take what I say and use it or not.

One of the reasons I am on this forum is that I have a little knowledge and I was a Navy instructor for many years, and I have the ability to maybe help those that are less fortunate or those that don't understand or want quick answers, and want to know where to find things.

I do this on my time and as no cost to anyone.

Those that don't appreciate what I do can put me on there ignore list.

Nice job.

I think your B7800 is similar to my B2620 but more hp.

Anyway, I want to do this too someday. I don't know whether I want float on either or both the top or tilt. Can someone explain the pros and cons please?

Also for me my biggest stumbling block besides $ is where exactly and how to plumb to my existing loader valves or blocks or whatever. Thanks in advance.

I was in the same situation as you when I started that is why I found someone that knows (Brian). I was going to have a dealer do it but way to pricey. But once someone shows you how and where your fittings are it is a lot easier than it sounds..
On mine three hoses hook up to the tractor, basically I removed one of the hoses that goes to the loader valve (I believe they call it the power beyond), then you hook up one hose to where each end of that hose was hooked up and run those two hoses to the new remote valve, then the third hose (return I believe it is called) tees into the return hose from your loader valve. Then the four hoses go back to the top and tilt cylinders.
The hardest part was trying to figure out where I wanted the new remote valve and how to mount it, you have to make sure you have clearance for all the hoses.
Not hard at all.
My set up was not that much $ , recommend that you get an estimate, you might be surprised,,

Float on the tilt means your blade or whatever will follow the contour of the ground. I hear a lot of people with a back blade (and no TnT) just pull the pin on tilt joint on the blade so it follows. Float will get you the same thing.

Float also relieves pressure in the lines when the tractor is running & you are trying to hook up connectors that can't have any pressure in the lines for them to fit up.

I haven't found as much use for the float on the top link though. Fiddled with it a bit when hitching up (I have a quick hitch) & am undecided.

I forgot to mention that what I am installing is a basic top and tilt, except the joy stick (which I may or may not like once I install it but simple to change back) This is what I wanted. Also by not using quick disconnects, third function (which I can add later to my current valve, if I should find that I want it) you can keep your cost down.. In other words a simple system that will do what I want that can grow later....

just pull the pin on tilt joint Not recommended.... You can bend the heck out of your 3 pt hitch........
