Very nice. Did you paint it? I have the recipe for an exact LS Blue from Sherwin Williams if you need.

I traded my XR4046HC in on a new XR4155HC last month and I moved my grill guard to the new tractor.

Actually I had it powder coated the black that matches the others stuff. I like it better then the blue actually.

i like Rams built a 2 inch receiver which I incorporated into my nose - radiator protector.(I had a stick go up an miss the rad but push the loser rad hose off....) On each side I welded hooks. The receiver is used to put my counter weight for when the loader is off and I'm cultivating. This way the counter weights also fit on all of my three point attachments that I have also welded receivers to. Works good with the sod buster to get some extra dig!.

I was just thinking...if you drilled and internally threaded a shaft just long enough to be a snug fit between two black plates and threaded the bolts used to attach your hook plates into it, one on each side, it would add a lot of strength to it.
