This is a re-post from the Ford/New Holland forum. Not receiving any help and as you can see I need it to go forward since I have little knowledge of Hydraulics.

I have a Ford 1920 and would like to add dual remotes to the rear. I do not have a loader and the tractor is kept 60 miles from my house.

Looking at the Service manual it looks like I could add the remotes by accessing The two ports of the Combination System Relief and Diverter Valve Manifold. The manual does not say what size Hoses connect to high pressure port and return port.

The main Control valve is harder to access buy is doable.

Yesterdays tractors show two Ford 1920 Hydraulic valve kits, HV4020 and Hv4124. HV 4020 seems straight forward but they have no information on how it connects to the tractor, hose sizes ( looks like is 1/4 NPT) or anything else.

The HV4124 seems to be a remote stand alone kit that would attach to a fender or where the loader controls would be located. Again no information what to connect it to or size of fittings.

I did call them but after holding for about an hour they could provide no information other than what was in the catalogue.

Thanks in advance Mike from NC

Mike, on my tractor a previous owner had added a Koyker loader. While personally, I am not real pleased with how they choose to get hydraulic fluid ti the control valve, it works.
They cut the metal pressure line from the pump to the 3PH. Then ran a hose from the pump side to the valve input port and the return/tank port to the 3PH side of the metal line.
One caution of doing this is that if for any reason you ever disconnect the valve, the hoses must be connected to continue the hydraulic flow to 1) use your 3PH and 2) to avoid a back pressure condition to your pump or running your hydraulic fluid reservoir empty (below the level of the suction tube) as the open pump side hose will cause 1 or the other condition.
Then from your valve mounted where it best works for you, run hoses or lines for your remotes.

Coy,
Thanks for the response, I finally got up with someone at Yesterday's Tractor and apparently they do make a complete kit hoses and everything. I ordered it today and we will see how it goes.
Thanks again

Please do post your results....I would like to do the same with my 1920, and I DO have a Ford 2108 loader.

Going to make a long story short. Yesterday's Tractor does sell a kit that works on the Ford 1920. However.... I ordered it in came to me in 5 different shipments over about 3 weeks. It took numerous phone calls and more emails to be get the kit. Directions were a joke. The valve you add to the tractor works fine but none of the ports are marked. I had to call the original manufacture to identify the ports, Yesterday's Tractor didn't have a clue. It does work but be prepared to do a lot of searching to figure out what goes where.
