Adding external 3PH control for 2555 shuttle? cab

I'm hoping I can add/fabricate a simple external control for the 3PH. I was told when I purchased this tractor (a barely used 2019 - 45 hr) about 6 months ago that the factory has a package that goes by the rear lights, but that appears to need some major changes - solenoids etc. So I'm guessing it would be quite $$$. Looking at the current mechanism it looks like I should be able to just add a handle to the external linkage but wanted some advise before I do something I shouldn't do. I would also like to do remotes from back there as well - for hydraulic toplink.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I was wondering the same thing on my 2645. There are places (cutouts) by the rear lights which could accommodate momentary switches for such a function. It would require significant changes due to the fact the current control valve is manual rather than solenoid controlled. An extension welded to the current manual control may suffice however future servicing could be impacted significantly.
