I'm redoing the plumbing on the Hurlimann 435

The Allied loader has been connected to the aux ports in back via 15 foot hoses, and now I am putting on a three spool monobloc valve that will provide a float function.

This is a single pump system with priority to the power steering. fluid overage (180 bar) goes on, first to the aux valves, than then to the 3ph lift. There is a diversion from the PS that supplies the front diff lock actuator controled by solenoid.

In the present configuration, the excess from the diff lock and the 3ph lift is directed to a lube line with a 2.6 bar pressure relief to tank,

The Aux valves route excess directly to tank.

Adding this loader valve, I wonder if it would be best to send the excess to tank or to the lube line? The lube line would be MUCH MUCH easier when it comes to plumbing fittings and room.

but there is that 2.6 bar pressure in the lube line that causes wonder.

comments?

ps The operator station has been lifted off the tractor and sitting on trestles to gain access to the hydraulic lines. (no small bit of work with ROPS etc. Something is going to happen, and soon ;-)

I would not go to the lube line. It would be in relief constantly with the 2.6bar. You need to go direct to tank.

Oh, I should have clarified, the new valve is in line with the pressure feed from the PS and to the AUX valves, in a power beyond configuration.

If I have it correctly, the only time the "excess" line sees fluid is during cylinder movement, i.e. displaced volume from the closing side of the cylinders. To me, that would suggest that the 2.6 bar relief would NOT be open constantly. Might have that wrong though, and so my question.

Thanks for the comment

Progress

I found a PORT! ,,

Under a bunch of "plumbing" for the front diff lock valve.

A plug, the tapping is 12MM X 1.25. Now where will I find a fitting for that? M12 X 1.5, yes, but 1.25?

Return to tank...oh bother I might just drill out the plug and fit a hose barb .... not my style though.

Any Ideas?

Found one! 9235-12X1.25-04 -- M12x1.25 Metric x 1/4" NPTF
