I want to add a a single Spool Remote HYD Valve to my L3010. I've been told that if I order the Kubota L8407 kit, all the parts I need for this installation are part of this kit. I've also been told that I also have to order a handle kit to go with the above kit as well; except I can't find any information on this handle kit. Has anyone installed the L8407 kit and could they tell me if everything needed to do the installation is included, along with the operating handles.

Thanks

To the best of my knowledge Kubotas have been two numbers for a while, one the base kit the other the handle, depending on cab or rops.

By chance does anyone know what the part number is for the handle kit. My local dealer does not seem to have that information and my parts manual does not show a number for a handle kit.

I just got a reply from a Kubota dealer that says they no longer make the handle kit that fits the spool kit L8407 for the L3010. I find this a bit odd seeing the tractor is 2002 model and that they are already fazing out parts for this unit. But if this is true, are there 3 party options for adding a remote rear hydraulic unit to this tractor. I should mention there is a Simms cab on this unit and I want the remote hydraulic to control the chute rotation on a rear mounted snowblower.

The kits to assemble any tractor options normally are only around for about one model after the change and then you have to buy them out of parts.

I've not seen it any different for any make we have worked with, so to speak you should count yourself as being lucky that the valve kit is still available for it.

I try to recommend all options that might be needed be installed when purchasing the unit when new.
