John Deere 2720 & John Deere Z925A
Hello all! This is my first post but I've been reading for months. I'd thought that I would share the fact that in the John Deere's 2720 manual it states it's top speed is 11.5 mph but our 2720 keeps up with my grandpas 3320 in road gear. Is the manual universal for the 2x20 series or was John Deere just to lazy to change it? I was just curious is all.

Welcome to the forum. Looking in tractor data it states the top speed of your tractor is 13.5mph. I am betting the manual is wrong or generic for that series. I don't know the road speed of the 3320.

My apologies, I was going off the top of my head but 13.5 sounds right. Also, thanks for the welcome! You guys provide great information on this forum and I put quite a bit of it to great use so thank you!

don't know about the 3320, but also I think the given speed is at rated rpm, but if you are running full throttle, you are way beyond rated rpm the speed goes with on the 2720 informaiotn.

Not sure on the tire's but tire size will make a bit of difference. I think the manuals are with the R-4's and like danedgington said, I'm pretty sure they're at rated RPM too.
