Don't forget the difference in wheel/tire size.

There is a reason tractors have such big wheels and tires - it increases traction!

Put the same 30" tires on both the truck and the tractor (of the same weight) and it will be a much closer contest. After that it will be a fair contest of horsepower, gearing and 4wd systems.
