Richard, were the handles that are used to release the hoe frozen to their shafts?

This has been a problem on mine. I will likely use heat next time I play with it.

I woulden't use any heat you have to make sure no pressure is on the jaws to get the pin retracted so they will open there is another thread on how to get it off.

12000 hours or 1200? Interesting your tranny was replaced at 600 hours that number is popping up alot when it comes to tranny replacement.(me too) Hopefully 1200 is NOT the next interval.

Ditto - 12,000 hours seems like a lot for a 2005 BX.

Yeah, my larger tractor was getting 1000 hours a year for the first 4 years, I can't imagine a bx being used twice as much.
