A few accessories

Hi all,
I just picked up my kubota L3130 HST w/loader in Kentucky the other day. I live in Northwest CT and hear there is supposed to be a big snow storm on Tuesday and Wednesday. I was wondering is there is any good accessories i should pick up before then or for the future?

It would be a good idea to add diesel fuel conditioner. I use power service in the white bottle from about any auto parts or even wally world. If you plan on plowing in the bad weather a good rain suit is well worth the investment or even a snowmobile suit. Fluid fill in the rears is great for weight and like the previous poster said chains. I use a 7 foot rear blade that will offset. You will need to plow using a blade on the back before it gets to deep. I usually plow at about 10" deep. I fit gets too deep it will push the rear of the tractor to one side.

Get a tarp to put over at least the seat (ignore this if you park your tractor inside.)

If you don't keep it covered, no matter how thoroughly you brush snow off the seat, you will still get a wet behind.

Back blade and chains come to mind. Chains make a HUGE difference on snow. (Check out tirechains.com before dropping your wallet in Kentucky.)

I'm figuring you already have warm boots and insulated coveralls.

Toe warmers are nice...
