955 - what side trailer

I bought a JD 955 (w/ loader and backhoe) last year. I want to get a trailer this year and want to make sure I can trailer the tractor on it when necessary (w/ loader & backhoe attached). What size trailer do you all think? 16ft or 18ft? The tractor dealer where I bought the tractor was suggesting an 18ft trailer but the 16ft trailers are a bit easier to find...especially used ones. So, I'd love to hear from some who has a similar setup.

With the FEL and BH attached you will need a 18' or even 20' 10k rated trailer.

Try this-measure from the FEL bucket front edge to the rear of the BH bucket while they are both level on the ground and see what you get? You also need some "wiggle" room to balance the load.

I would go with 18' min I bought a kaufman trailer and love it very well built
they also have a specal right now 10k 18' trailer $1990.00 look them up kaufmantrailers.com I went with the 14k 22'tilt:thumbsup:
