9 hp engine popping through carb when I floor it. Will also buck and kick.

It's a 91 Yamaha 4 cycl golf cart. Plug is nice gold or tan color. She will smoke white sometes under heavy load like pulling cart at full throttle. No smell and not burning oil

Yes.... and lean is hot, and hot is bad.
You will see the pipes glowing in the dark at idle (air cooled engine). I think there is a jet obstructed.

lookit MHP, IH cub, and allis G.. all small 4bangers all in that 9ish to 13ish range.
