Oil & Fuel 855 Fuel Guage

Hey again!

One of my winter projects is going to be getting the fuel guage working on my 855. Before I just outright purchase a new guage, I need to know if it is the guage that is faulty, the sending unit, wiring....etc. Does anyone have some tips on how to start this process? I do not have the service manual for my tractor, but I don't think this particular problem is too complicated.

I am having trouble with mine on my 955 also. I think mine is in the gauge as it will work sometime. I have taken the connection loose & I don't think the problem is there. Cleaned the terminals & made sure they are making good contact. Gauge will work if I hit it. (sometimes) /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif Problem is, it is darn near impossible to get that gauge out. Maybe someone else has some pointers.

I am having the same problem with my 870 fuel gauge and also the temperture gauge. Any information will be appreciated.
