855 60" mid mount mower help please

I had the opportunity to buy a JD 955 about 10 years ago with 800 hours on it for $12k. I was leery because it was a rental return, but still in excellent shape.

I have been kicking myself ever since!

The resale value on the 955s are still out of sight! I know of no close replacement, from any manufacturer. The HP:weight ratio is perfect. Especially if your land is on a steep hill.

I got my 955 from a guy down the street 18 months ago with 825 hrs, FEL, 72MMM for $9 grand. He told me what he wanted and I paid it. I had been looking for 2 years. The comps on this tractor are still around $12 thousand. For some reason, the 955 really holds its value. Still looking for the #7 BH.
