7520 lift capacity

   / 7520 lift capacity #31
My short term memory strikes again. I should have gone back to my post about it last spring. The 275 loader guard is different from the 276 which is what I have. The 276 loader grill guard is part number 1590-2053.

According to my 276 manual, the loader is the same base loader as the 275 but moved forward to clear the new front axle?

Brandi, I feel the same way about the bolt setup. I figure that if I hit something hard enough to do that, I may just have other thoughts on my mind then of scratching the grill work, ha!

Dang. You guys don't need me at all!

QRT... yours have the tier 2 or 3 engine? I know that came into play in deign changes as well, but the first was indeed the new axle. Now that I think some more... the changes were done in a way that it would fit the new tier 3 when it came out... so...:D

QRTRHRS,
Now you got me. My dealer has a used 7520 with a ML276 loader on his lot right now. I know this 7520 was purchased delivered in April of 2007, a month after my 6520.:) I will swing by today and give it a good look and maybe a photo or two for comparison.
Jeremy............We still need you to get our coffee.;) You know your input is deeply appreciated here by all of us.:):):)
hugs, Brandi

I forgot to take my camera:(, but the owner at Top Flight lent me his ancient polaroid camera:D. The 7520 engine casting is wider than a 6520. When a 6520 doesn't have a grill guard installed, but has a loader, a 1/2 inch thick shim plate is installed where my grill guard mounts. I have to loosen all 7 (see left photo) forward loader frame bolts to install my grill guard. If I had a 7520 I would weld a 1/2 inch plate over the area of the forward holes ON the grill guard and then you can have 4 bolts for the grill guard, but they would be two different lengths. I forgot to detail the front axle, but I think the 6520 and 7520 has the same axle, thus the same deminsions.
hugs, Brandi

The only thing I see in the owners manual (dated April/07) is that it conforms to Tier II norms? The tractor serial number is KNG-1108. With out going out to the barn to look, I do not know if there are any info plates or stickers on the engine.

I don't know if the axle is different, but the steering ram is big time different. It is one of those hydraulics where the housing is mounted and there is a ram that goes in and out on either end of the housing. Common on a lot of tractors. I have no doubt that it is an improvement over our one single one sided steering hydraulic.

Same turning force in each direction. I need to turn up my steering pressure. Wont steer the wheels with a bucket load when stationary. Thats AGs for ya.
Did you get my msg? Got no "read" notification so figured you were not on site.
