My used 7305 came without a draw bar (the one below the transmission). This should be common to a 7260, 7265, 7300 also. I just picked up some 3/4" x 2" bar stock to make one from. It would be a great help if someone could measure one for me. I need the overall length and hole spacing.

I don't know if the 7305 has the same size drawbar that my 7360 has. But mine is 25mm X 50mm X 500mm. I lost mine out in the fields and I priced it at one of the local Cub dealers. They wanted $165 for it. I decided to have one made at a local machine shop. But before I could get that done, my neighbor found it while out walking in my field. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Here's what my Mahindra 3015 came with - same tractor, as you know. I only wish I had a metric tape measure... /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Overall length: 19-3/16"
Overall width: 1-15/16"
Overall height: 3/4"

For these measurements, refer to the attachment:

From "tractor end" to center of hole "A": 4-1/16"
From center of hole "A" to center of hole "B": 9-15/16"
From center of hole "A" to center of hole "C": 14"

Diameter of holes "A" and "B": 15/16"
Diameter of hole "C": 1-1/16"

Of course, none of these are going to be real critical. On my tractor, I can't use "B" as intended in the manual (as a way to slide the drawbar back under the tractor while using the three-point hitch) for the simple reason that the housing for the mid-pto will only let me slide it in another inch or two!

Hope this helps you some,
Jerry

Thanks, that should do it.

I am a little surprised that the "A" and "B" hole is 15/16 since the one on the tractor is 11/16. I had eye balled it at 3/4" but the cat 1 toplink pin I bought for it is too big so I'll pick up a cat 0 one.

I have pretty much decided to weld a piece of 2" receiver tubing and a grab hook on the one I'm making. That's an advantage of making one. I'm much more comfortable hacking up $0.35/lb remnant steel than $165 factory parts...

I "lost" mine once. Now, I take it off and put it in it's "storage" position under the seat when I am using 3PH implements. I don't know about the 7360, but the 7200, 7205, 7260, 7265, 7300 and 7305 have a special spot for them under the seat.

For the 7360, the storage position is to take it out and turn it around 180 degrees and put it back. It is completely out of the way.

Mine will soon be painted iridescent yellow in case it decides to get lost again. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
