My father and I just purchased this Cadet 7275 for 4k. We were told it was a 99, but from poking around the internet it looks like they were only made for the 1996 and 1997 years. The data plate has a bolt through it so I can only imagine some digits are missing. Anyone have any thoughts if one can pull the year from the numbers that are showing or does it even matter? I mean it would be nice to know but it has relatively low hours (400) and it's main use will be snow and light work. When ordering parts are they the same for both years.
Plate just shows: 7275-x(number not legible)
and second line: 545-4

Thanks
Kevin

Kiowamtp, I have a 7234 model that I bought new in 1996. I called Cub Cadet once and I was told mine was a late 1996 or early 1997 production run. As I remember, for 2-3 years, maybe more, the tractor looked the same. The major difference between the 727 and 723 models was the 27 HP motor in yours.

I bought a brand new 7200 in 1998 and a 7260 in 1999, so yours predated that
