72\" MMM for 4610

Does anyone out there use a MMM on on 4510,4610 ro 4710?
I am wondering if the tractor is too large to get around with the MMM and get a good cut. I have until July 7 to order a new one and I am undecided between the 4410 or the larger frame 4610.

thanks BOB

Re: 72\" MMM for 4610

Not saying it can't be done, but a 4610 is a pretty big customer for a mmm. The mid pto has to be installed by the dealer. You may want to reconsider and go with a rear finishing mower unless you have other uses planned for the mid pto.

Re: 72\" MMM for 4610

I've been using the 72" mid-mount JD mower on my 4700 for the past 2 years, and now it's mounted on my new 4710. Personally, I wouldn't have any other setup. It cuts great, and it's easy to use when mowing around trees, driveways, pools, buildings, etc. The rear mount decks are not that easy to use around obstructions. The only problem I have is the clearance with the R4 tires on the front, and then only when I'm backing up and turning the front wheels at the same time (the right front tread grabs the right front gauge wheel spring mount occasionally). Other than that one problem - it's awesome.
