I think I know the answer but here goes...
Does anyone know if there is a way to disengage the hydro pump for cold starts?
Mine starts well but the hydro is very slow to warm and noisy. I did buy a 300 watt magnetic heater and think I'll try it on the bottom of the rear diff. in very cold weather.
Thanks,

Sorry, but there is no way to do that on the tractor you have. I might consider the oil that you are using could cause additional noise when cold.

art,
The oil is what came from the factory. I figured you could'nt disengage the pump .(40 hrs on the machine). I guess it won't hurt anything. I still may try the heater.
thanks,

The magnetic heaters do help to warm the oil for a faster warm-up. To use the loader a little after starting will help to circulate the oil faster and warm it faster from the friction.
