62C gators

Wow! After a years use, the blades on my 62C are shot. I was a little dissappointed with the blades. They seemed to be soft enough that they would not hold an edge. I just bought a set of gators and installed them on the deck. Made a couple of "test" passes and I am impressed. (plus they were cheaper than JD blades) /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

My experience too. I put on a new set of blades last year, and they look really beat up now. I put on the mulching kit this year for the first time, so I've got those blades, but chances are they won't last either.

Will the gators work ok with the mulching kit on the 62C?
What is the P/n for the gators? TSC carries some gators, do the have the ones for the 62C?

I don't know how the gators would work with the mulching kit. Sorry, I have no experience in that area. Our part number for the gators is 91-471. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
