I'm trying to resolve a fuel problem on my 6210. I have no fuel coming out of the tank. There is a 3 wire connection going into tank through a bulkhead fitting. Across 2 wires I have 6 volts so I'm assuming this is the fuel level sensor. So I'm guessing I should see 12 volts on the other wire that would power the pump, but I don't. This is hoping someone can confirm for me before I go further.

I did replace a 30 amp fuse that powers the pump. Another odd thing that happened whit this problem is that now with switch off, the fuel gauge needle is almost pegged out clockwise, ie 360 degrees from where it should be. Then when I turn ignition to run, thee needLe moves counter clockwise about 90 degrees which is still much over the full position.

There are three wires.
Orange is for the fuel gauge sender.
Red powers the fuel pump.
Black is ground.
Fuel gauge sender and fuel pump share the same ground
I assume the fuse you replaced is F101 30A

Thanks zebra. I should measure 12 volts black to red when I turn ignition switch to run, correct?
