6020 won't move

Ahhgg! This thing is gonna drive me to drink. Went to back out of the garage, no reverse again. Disconnect the valve control rod and the spool functions as it should, so does the direction lever, control arm, and travel control pedal. Now I'm thinking it may have something to do with the balljoint or the valve control rod. When these units are connected I can get forward and the spool is pulled out like it should be. In reverse however it won't push the spool in no matter where I adjust it. ???

Brian is an Ingersoll dealer and he owned a 6018 until recently. He is a great guy and may be able to give you some insight that I can't. He's done a lot of work on the 6000 and 7000 models whereas I have not. Let me know how that works out for you.
