Yes, I'm interested in a solar charger. Will do some more investigating to see if the Dakota is set up for 7-pin. I used a wiring kit to plug in the 4-pin several years ago and now have added a 7-pin that plugs into the 4-pin so can use either one.I think you better wait till you get the trailer. I don't know what that box is he is touching, I think its a charger based on the wiring going to battery etc. I don't have that in my unit. I have the pump and the yellow control, you have some addons over me.
LOL you said it had a charger. you may want to just setup the 7 pin for charging if your not close to an outlet, being a durango or dakota, I would think it would be setup to have 7 pin wiring from the factory.
I can give you a link to a 30w solar mppt charger if you want to go that way as well. it works well.
I could connect the 12VDC pin to the wire going to the 50amp anderson on the pickup rear bumper but it would be hot all the time unless I switched the breaker off under the hood.
