580L 4x4 Trans. Problem

I have a 580L 4x4 that isn'tgetting full power to the wheels ,,will pull itself but will not push enough to fill bucket..Changed filters and replaced shuttle valve without any improvement,,any ideas as what to check next,,THANKS.

I'm not real familliar with these, but don't they have transmissions similar to an automatic in a car? Does it not wanna push because it bogs down too much or does the engine rev but not turn the wheels? If the stator in the torque converter goes bad the converter won't be able to mulitply torque as it should. It's on a one way clutch (sprag) which can go bad. Does the fluid smell burnt? Do you have a way to test the fluid pressure?

Time to get the big boys out there with the guages to do the trans stall tests...
The particulars are lined out in the shop manual...
