5740C PTO Hp??

Hello, I have been looking at several new 5740C and have been very impressed.

The dealer reports that most 5740's dyno at the PTO 50+ HP, which would indicate the engine is somewhat underrated, I would be interested in hearing from anyone that have had thier 5740 dynoed?

I plan to use primarly mowing set aside land with 8' Heavy duty cutter

Got it, I searched and found that UncleBuck had previously reported the 5740C PTO Hp:

"That 57hp at the engine and 52hp at the PTO for the 5740C are the stats that Montana itself gives to it's dealers. While I'd agree that the 5hp difference is minimal, those are the stats I've been told since I started looking at Montanas over a year and a half ago. Maybe Maka could shed more light on this but remember Montanas have a 4cyl diesel where most others in that hp range have a 3cyl engine."
