Ok I know I just did this with the 5325 but that tractor did not have the power-reverser and I plan to do a ton of loader work so the regular transmission was not the ticket. Anyway this tractor has all of the same options..cab, telescoping draft links, 540/1000 PTO etc. Price on this one jumped a little to $43k even at 48 months at 0%. The salesman said he wes trying to get the price down some more but did not hold out much hope.

acctually that quote aint bad. you're really just paying $5000 more for the power reverser tranny which is what it costs. is this with the fel too? theres a 5425 on tractorhouse.com optioned out just like yours except no loader going for $43,700. so if you're getting a fel with yours, i'd say thats a deal.

After shopping the '25 series a bit last year, I would agree with Rollingsfarms if you are getting the FEL also. And of course, if this is commercial use, then the U.S. taxpayer is helping you buy the thing . ( Tennessee also if you guys have an income tax)

Don't worry the taxpayer more than recoups his money very quickly ;)

Tax breaks on commercial vehicle purchases is a government investment and not a subsidy: the more the vehicle's owner prospers the more tax revenue his vehicle generates. If it fails to generate revenue in most cases it will keep changing hands until it does.
