I recently bought a JD 5510 MFWD w/ a 540 FEL. It's missing both parking stands. Anyone have the angles and/or dimensions. I was thinking of building my own. Can't be to difficult can it?

If you would send me a PM with your e-mail address, when I go out in the morning I will take some pictures with measurements. By e-mailing them to you I will not have to reduce the size as that I would need to do inorder to post them. If you do not already have it here is the manual for the 540 loader. If you have not already been to JD parts catalog you may want to see what other parts you will need. Do you have the guide? I posted a small picture I have it is the piece above the stand. If not let me know and I can get a picture of that as well.
It take it you want the stands to take the loader off, just so you do not miss it as I almost did, the tractor needs to be in neutral, because the loader pushes the tractor off of it.

Hello, I'm new to the forum. I had to remove my 540 loader to split my JD 5210. I didn't have stands so had to use jacks and boards. Do you have information on building the legs for the loader?
I have pictures of mine and placed a ruler along side for measurement. If you think there is value in having them PM (private message) me your e-mail address and I will e-mail them to you.
Would you mind sharing why you split your 5210 and what you learned it. If it was to replace the clutch I am sure others would be interested in learning from your experience.

I know that it has been a couple of years since your post, but I have recently purchased a JD5300 with a 540 loader and need parking legs for the loader. Do you still have the photos with measurements? If so, would you be able to email them to me so I can have some made?
