5203 3ph lever

Have had the lever for the 3ph on my 5203 get where I can hardly move it. Ran into a JD mechanic at the local auto parts and he said he had worked on severl of the 03's with that problem. He guessed that lack of use caused the levers to "freeze" up. Said the mechanics had been beating on the linkage area with hammers to free the things up. I have soaked those areas with WD -40 and seem to be making progress.

Any of you 03 series owners encountered the same problem??

Mine is stiff, but not like yours. I'd use something other that WD40, it dries out and can cause sticking.
