Backhoe 511 backhoe subframe

Brandi:
Thx for the offer to email the pix. It is not the quality, it is the time
to download. I have looked at one or 2 of your very clear photos, but
only if I am getting up to do something else. If you use a Windows computer,
any JPG image can be right-clicked and auto-reduced to about 100KB
for emailing. Otherwise for uploading, I reduce them and crop them
in PhotoStudio, the free image editing s/w that comes with lots of cameras.

Brandi,

What I'm considering is the purchase of a 511/611 backhoe subframe from my local Mahindra dealer. The cost is $1,2000 for the tractor half plus the BH half. What I want to be sure about is that I can mount the BH half of the 511 subframe to a Bobcat 811. The Bobcat 811 has a quick attach plate plus two arms similar to the upper arms on your BH subframe (the 2 pieces with the 8 bolts). I would need to strip off the Bobcat mountings from the BH and bolt and/or weld the the two 511 BH subframe pieces to the Bobcat mounting plate. I just want to make sure that the outside dimensions (horizontal & vertical) of your attached BH subrame will fit on the Bobcat mounting plate.

Bob,
Okay, I understand now. I wouldn't weld the brackets to the 811. If you ever have a need to sale it, you will have to restore it to original.

dfkrug,
Yeah, I do the same thing while downloading photos, I go do something else. :( I use Netscape for my browser, as I do not like Internet Explorer. I can not right click to resize a photo. :( I have to go back into my Kodak Easyshare program and resize it and save it again, then resend it. All that time, either yours or mine. I choose yours. :)

Unless those bolt holes just happen to line up perfectly (not necessarily all, but most)... this project is begging for a massive (read: thick steel) custom drilled adapter plate. :)

Dougster,
I am wondering with all the 11s in the model number...511, 811, 611, if indeed, they are all made by Bradco (like someone mentioned earlier) and may line up. My guess is 4 holes will be close. :D An apdaper plate will might need cutting and welding new flanges, as there are cutouts on mine for some of the bolts. If he can get a part number for the 811's mainframe, we can at least compare part numbers. ;)

Depending how massive we are talking I just might have some behind the chicken shed. It is in hiding. My wife has me on a 30 day rule. If I can't use what I bring home in 30 days I don't bring it home. That rule has just made me be a little more creative. :D

The 11's are the digging depth. All 3 models can dig to a depth of 11'-1
