I was doing all my adjustments today and could not get the rear deck mower to cut close enough to the ground around the house. I leveled the sucker front to back, side to side and as soon as I lowered it the rear wheel would hold the deck too high off the ground. I pulled the wheel up as high as I could and that didn't work. QUESTION Can you use the deck without the rear wheel. That would probably work however I was reluctant to try. I mowed my east pasture and it worked great, but the grass was quite high.
