5083 ?

Okay I have a question for the 5083 owners out there. Do any of you with 5083 Cab & loader, have an approximate weight for the unit ? the dealer says about 8400lbs. but I think they may be a bit off and I did not see a weight listed for the loader on Deere's website.

Also does any one know who is making the loaders for these tractors ?

What model loader?

it is the 553 loader

That figure may be a tad low, but probably not a whole bunch off for an unballasted tractor. The loader is made by Deere at the Loader factor in Mexico, used to be made at the Welland factory in Canada.

Cool chart! It needs updating to include the new H-series. I'll dig around to see if I can pull some of those figures from my owners manual.

Before the loader chart was posted my guess was 1500lbs (chart say 1519lbs)
I'll say 7200lbs for the tractor (unballasted)
So 8700lbs total.
Weigh it and let us know!

Chart does not have my 245 SL loader or 640 SL loader

My dealer told me around 11000 with 563 loader and loaded tires.
