1951 Case Model DI
Howdy , purchased this 100% complete and operating tractor from an estate sale. Since the previous owner is no longer here on earth , God rest his Soul, the widow was unable to help located all the manuals.
So I've been unable to loacate manuals , service , repair, operating or parts catalog for the Lull. I've only been able to get second hand information.
If anyone can point me to the right direction or to an owner of a Lull I would certainly appreciate it. Thanks, Dave dieseldave55@hughes.net

What model is it? If 7B you are in luck.

Soundguy are you refering to what model the Lull is ? If that's the case I have no idea. Other than much newer machines I have no information on the Lull. I have gone so far as to contact Lull manufacturing thru their parent company at their new plant location. When I asked about information on a 1950 Case DI w/Lull , I swear I hear laughing in the backround.

The 1950 case DA has little bearing on what loader model it is, if multiple units fit it.. It's rare to see companies that kept legacy records on their much older equipment.

look it over for metal tags or numbers.. if it is a 7B.. I know where you can get a manual for it. It does not appear to be a 4K model..

might even try matching the loader up by pictures of other loaders.

Soundguy I'm aware that the Lull was a aftermarket or dealer optioned loader. Along with Stanhoist , Wagner , Allen , Hough and Lull. These are some install instruction/ operation and repair manual for the Hough loader to a Case industrial (case DI)

Here are a few magazine advertizements for the aftermarket Lull Shovel loader to the Case DI

Ok.. it's a 49K... I'll look around. I knew where there was a 7B manual for sale.. but will start looking for a 49k.

Terrific Soundguy! I also found out what a Lull 7B high lift loader was . Ebay has a manual for one so I'll get that one also. Any help in find info for the Lull loader would certainly be helpful. Thanks, dave:D

Soundguy, whay is it that you call my Lull loader a 49K , when the model indicates 4-B-HL? Have I been asking for Lull information using indentification?

Lull is now part of JLG, which in turn is part of Oshkosh Corp. (Skytrack's, Telehandlers, manlifts, ect) I'd try contacting them directly with a request for information. Obviously with the age of your loader, it probably won't be supported by parts or any online manuals, but there MIGHT be someone at JLG with a clue as to where you can turn.

JLG - Aerial Work Platforms, Telehandlers, Stockpickers, Manufacturing, Industry.

Whew Soundguy, thought I'd spent all this time looking with the wrong information.

Farmwithjunk, I did contact them the Lull division thru JLG ( that was when I heard laughter in the backround when I called). Thanks for that lead.

DreaminGreen; I aready searched their site and also sent an email asking about a Lull manual or information to the arrest and conviction of a Lull loader manual!!!!! I'll keep looking. Hey , really appreciate all you guy's input.

Lull has been bought and sold many times through the years. That is why you see the name change slightly through the years. I used to work for Lull until they shut down the Eagan, MN facility. "Shorty" Lull started the company in Minneapolis, then moved to Eagan when he needed to expand. Production was moved to Port Washington, WI in ~2002. Moved again to McConnellsburg, PA in late 2003. I think most of this old information was lost before I got there in '99.

Owners (to the best of my knowledge)
-------------------------
1956 or 1959:- Lull Manufacturing Co. founded by Legrand "Shorty" Lull
<1963-1973: The Lull Engineering Co, Inc
1973 - Mar1992: Lull Corporation (owned by Stamatakis Industries Inc., went bankrupt)
Mid 1992-Nov1993: Bought by Badger R. Bazen,
Nov1993: Lull Industries Inc
1996: Harbour Group acquires, (known as Lull International? joins Sky Trak)
1997, late: bought by OmniQuip
2003: JLG bought OmniQuip
2006, late - JLG bought by Oshkosh Truck
