4wd on 1702

My 1702 4wd will turn with the tractor jacked up, but with a little drag the wheels stop turning. Simply put it not pulling when engaged. Is there an adjustment on it somewheres? Or is there other problems. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like the spring pin closest to the differential on the driveshaft is broke.

Thank you for the reply EFC. However we have found the problem. The six allen head screws that hold the ring gear in the front had worked out and was laying in the case. Thank you for you reply. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Yikes, that is a new one. sounds like sombody has been in there before and did a poor job.
