Backhoe 48 backhoe

Does anyone know if a 48 BH off of a 5205 would fit onto a 3320? I know the 3320 would need its own mounting hardware and power beyond kit. Are backhoes specifically made to fit specific tractors? I have a backhoe in my sights but would like to know if this conversion can be made.Will I need any more frame/ bracketry ? Thanks

The basic hoe should be the same - i.e. the boom, dipperstick, buckets, etc. However, as you noted; the sub-frame and mounting hardware are specific to the tractor series. In this case, the 3000 x 20 tractors.

As AK said, the basic hoe is the same, but a new subframe would be required to fit your machine. I believe they are in the $1000.00 range, and the PB kit is about $250.00 or so...

The more I think about this, It would make better sense to find a 48 BH off of another 3320 that someone is willing to sell.That way I could take all the nessesary hardware made for my specific model. Thanks for the help! I knew you guys would help me figure this out!!!

drz400 I installed a 47 backhoe on my 3320 this spring , found the power beyond kit on E bay JDGREENSELLS for $253 , called around to differnt JD dealers and got the mounting plates for around 280. installed the whole thing in less than a day
