On my 335, if hay is pretty dry, there will be a build up of finer chaff in the back loop, and drops under the bottom roller bar. When I close the door, there is enough pressure on the hydraulics, to kick it back to the neutral position. But yet, the door is not completely closed, or belts tight, once the PTO is re-engaged.

I just got in the habit of starting the baler at low rpm's, then nudge the hydraulic control to close again. Mine has the manual bale size indicator. I can tell when it starts building up, because it will not go completely back to where it should be. With PTO engaged, and nudge the hydraulics, the indicator will jump to where it should, and belts are tight, and door closed.

In extremely dry hay, I'll clean it every 15-20 bales.
