Hello all,
New here, so thanks in advance for your help. I have a 455 that I love with a 60 deck and only 1200 hours on it. Last fall it began to leak a little from the rear differential, now it's quite a bit. I have to add a little fluid after about 8 hours of use and leaves a decent mark on the garage floor. Any thoughts? Do I need to be concerned about the actual transmission being damaged? I've never let the fluid get too low. Any suggestions on how to repair?
Thank you!

Have you removed the fender deck to learn more about where the leak is coming from? Pics will help if diagnosis is needed.

A drain pan under it when parked will help determine how much leaks when not running vs. leakage when operating.

I have not removed anything yet. I will run tests and post photos shortly.
Thanks,
