Looking for one now.
Keep discovering new things on my 4530. Found 2 connectors at rear of tractor on the right side by 3 point hitch just hanging there not attached to anything. Each connector has 2 wires going to it. These are not shown on the wiring diagram that came with the service manual. Any idea what these are for??

Hey Denis,
I've asked that same question to my local Mahindra dealer and they said they "think" the connecters are designed for hooking up trailers. They also said the connecters themselves are a foreign design, not American. I sent a couple of PM's to some TractorByNet guys and the response was the same. I'll get on Mahindra's 24/7 Live Chat today and ask. I'll post the response when I get it.

Mud;

Trailers usually have more connections; lights, turn and brake signal, ground, brakes etc. And are the connections are in one plug.

Please post any info you come across. I may try and call Mahindra and will do the same.

What is the chat line you mentioned?

Thanks

Denis,

Mahindra's 24/7 didn't have an answer. They referred me to a dealership other than my local one because my local one couldn't answer the question. I'll call the other dealership Monday and I've also PM'd DavesTractor. Maybe Dave can educate us.

I understand they are for a trailer connection, although I have never put a test light on them to see what they do.

We could make up a better story, like it is for the worklight on the new backhoe?:D :D :D

Dave;
Any idea what these would supply power to on the trailer?

If I'm understanding you correctly I would assume they would be powering the trailer lights.

I have a 2615 and I have used these wires to power trailer lights. however I was only powering the running lights.

Take a tester and see if these wires are outputting 12 volts. Probably will have to turn the key on.

Hope this helps
