4510

Does a 4510 have the go to run a small disc mower? I believe it's a small Mortl brand. Seems to be it would be too much for this tractor, but I thought I'd ask. A neighbor is going to try cutting hay with his this year.

It won't hurt to try. I find most people find that their tractors will do more than they think , if they try it. By the way how did things turn out on the rear lift capacity?

Never did get it to lift the hydraulic spear so he bought a new fixed position rear spear. I never went to look at exactly what the problem was.
Seems to me running even a small disc mower would be awfully hard on that little tractor. I believe he's got a 7ft cut Mortl. Used to run it with a bigger Deere.

Now he thinks he's going to roll hay with the little cab tractor. I just can't see the 4510 with even a Vermeer Rebel baler. I'm betting something gets broken!

Tell him, if he is going to try it, take it slow at first and work his speed up gradually to find out how much hay he can put to the machine at once. Hopefully it will work out for him.
