Congratulations! Just like having a kid, you won't have time for anything else once she's (he's?) delivered. Send pictures when you get 'em!/w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif If you don't mind my asking, what'd all that cost you?

When all of the smoke cleared a little over $27K, delivered... roughly a 13.5% discount off of retail (or $1 per minute of research time!)
A BIG step up from the old Oliver I had!

I doubt that I am the only one that is just a bit jealous of your purchase. Sounds like quite a package, and hope to hear from you after four weeks.
Congratulations.

My wife thinks I'm sick too, however she says a tractor and logging on every night to TBN is better than a new sports car and running around at night/w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

I must be rather lucky! I went to the tractor dealer on thursday, and it was delivered on friday! I could never stand the anticipation and I would never order a car again. It seems to me that alot of people here special ordered their tractors and were forced to wait. Well, anyway, I hope it comes to you quick so you can get to enjoy it sooner.

Yes the waiting is painful (how many times can you look at the same brochure?)
Good luck with the new tractor...Post some pictures when you can. What did you get?

Frank,

I agree with you. I haven't ordered a new vehicle in over 15 years, and I get 2 new vehicles every 3 years. If I can't find it on the lot, then I figure that it wasn't meant to be right then. Besides, I think you can usually get a better deal with it sitting right there. I think that's because it saves the salesman a bunch of work./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

I got a Kubota L3010 HST with a LA482 loader, woods BB60 rotary cutter, R4's, and a woods box scraper. I might get the foldable ROPS ($200). That way I could fit it in my garage. But, then I would have to clear out all the junk that's already there. I was considering eventually building a shed/barn for it, but my wife made a good point. It would cost me either $200 for the foldable ROPS, or $whoknowswhat for the new shed/barn!

Interesting perspective for the picture! How high up did you need to be to get that look?

Nice looking tractor too!!/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

It was taken from the seat of my new Kubota L48!
Actually, I took it from the landing leading out of our kitchen on the second floor.

Thanks! I was originally considering a Massey Ferguson MF1235, then a Kubota L2500, then L2600, then an NH TC29D, then a Kubota B2910, and finally settled on the L3010. I was rather surprised that the price difference between the B2910 and the L3010 was several hundred dollars less than $1000, with the L3010 being 2 hp more and a much bigger tractor. The only things I saw that the B2910 had over the L3010 were armrests on the seat and a telescoping steering wheel! I'm sure there must be more, but if that's it, I'll take the extra ponies and size anyday.

BTW, it took more me more than 2 years to finally purchase.

Let me know how your L3010 works for you. I just bought one with the HD bucket and a 60" Land Pride cutter. I am waiting for the R-4s to show up along with the telescoping 3 point(I do not know what that is but it seemed like something I would need in the long run!) I ordered the folding ROPs because of my pear orchard-keeps it out of the branches!
Waiting is a drag, but I am building a deck this weekend and need to stay concentrated!
