4300 clutch adjustments?

I've got a friend with a 96 4300 4x4.. and the gears are grinding. He was about to split it.. then noticed it is a wet clutch.. and wondered about proper adjustment technique.

Any help I can pass along?

I don't know if this will help, but I made a photo of the clutch adjustment page for my JD 4310. Might be the same might not.
