4115 just quit need help

I hope everyone is having a good holiday. Heres my problem. I don't know if this has anything to do with my problem but I will tell you anyway. When I turn on the flashers one bulb doesn't want to light but if you take off the cover the bulb will start to work. I went to cut some wood and all is fine. Driving back to the barn I turned on the flasher and only one bulb was flashing so I said to myself I would fix it later. All of a sudden to tractor just cut off. I have fuel in it. When I turn on the key to on the front and back lights will turn on but the flashers will not work, all I get is a ticking. When I try to start the tractor I just get a single tick. I think it must be a switch that went bad but I don't know where to start. I wonder if the flashers have anything to do with it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Larry

Found the problem, the flasher fuse was blown. I never thought a blown flasher fuse would cause the engine not to start but its running now.

Have you found out any more about your problem? I have a similar condition with my 4115 when running if I turn on any lights it shoots the fuse and dies. Replace the fuse and turn the lights off and it runs fine. Been doing this for years and I can't seem to find the problem. I would like to use the 4 ways when plowing my neighbors snow.

Sorry for the late reply. No I haven't found out why the fuse blew. I do know that the bulb was bad even though the filaments were good. I haven't put a new bulb in yet. I will let you know if it happens again. Like you I don't use the flashers much. I have had my 4115 since 2007 with out any electrical problems. Larry
