Looks a lot like the 4100 I bought this Spring. I have the same loader and cutter and they work great!

A suggestion if I may?

Install some tie down rings on your trailer! I noticed that you have your rachet strap looped around a trailer upright. That can weaken your straps in no time at all.

IRTEXN,

Since GaryM is probably out on his tractor, what do you mean about those tie downs? That's how I do 'em too, except they are attached to metal loops level with the platform of the tractor.

As Buick pointed out, I would weld some "upside-down" U shaped 3/8" (or something close to that size) round steel to the wide side (vertical side) of the trailer's channel to tie to ... you will find them helpful for many things ... I would put at least one per each open area between the vertical side rail supports of the sides ... you could skip where the wheel farings are ...

Gary, Buck and EM,
Thanks for the suggestion on the tie down rings. I have a buddy with a welder and a TSC close by. Sounds like an easy fix

I also have the Deere 4110 with the 410 FEL and a handful of attachments and I'm starting to look at trailers. Can you tell me what size trailer is shown in your photo? I'm leaning toward a 6'10" x 18' 7000lb unit.
Thanks

Heath, I haul my 4100 with loader and attachments on a 16' dual axle trailer. Not alot of extra length, but everything does fit inside.

I use a double axle 18' trailer with a 2' dovetail as part of the 18'. I have four tiedown rings and will add more soon.

The 4100, 410 loader, and 413 cutter fit with about 1 1/2' to spare. This lets me move fore and aft to adjust hitch weight.

I have electric brakes on one axle, should have gone for brakes on two axles. Trailer GVW is 7500 lbs.

I'm really curious to see if I can get my 4110 with a 60" mmm, the 410 FEL, the 5' box scraper, my 6' rake, and my 6' rear blade all on a 6'10" x 18' trailer. I'm hoping I can leave the FEL, mmm, and box scrpaper on the tractor and still be able to either put the rake and blade along the side, or in front or rear and along the side. I'm borrowing a buddies trailer that is the same size for a test run. Does anyone have any opinions on this specific setup?

Thanks for the input GaryM. The trailer I'm looking at has electric brakes on one of the axles only. You think I should get the brakes on both axles though? I think the addition of brakes to the other axle is only another $160.

I'm thinking that the rear blade might need to be put on the front end with the hitch on the blade overhanging the trailers tongue. Then put on the tractor with the loader and box blade attached, then the rake on the back. I'm guessing the hitch on the rake could overhang the box blade.

I hope you might have enough room to move back and forth to adjust the tounge weight. Does the trailer have a load equalizing hitch?

I wish I had brakes on both axles. I think most folks would agree that you can't have too much braking action. You can always adjust it down, but can't add what you don't have.

I have a brake controller that adds braking power depending on how long your foots on the pedal. I plan to switch it out for an inertia style this Spring.
