I'm pretty sure any dealer, of ANY color, that did that would be out of business in very short order. The MSRP on anything (tractors, cars, trucks etc) is a joke.

Sorry, Cowboydoc to upset you, but there is alot more than price involved when buying anything. Its the service after the sale thats most important to me. If the dealer can't make money on the sale, then he most likely won't be there after the sale. These tractors are getting alot more complicated to work on for the average shadetree mechanic. Lots of computer related circuits and special tools involved in servicing these units. So the dealer needs to make a fair profit on the sale. So many dealers think they can survice on a 4-5% margin, but eventually they will be history. In the next 10 years, approximately 50% of dealers will either go out of business or be bought out by larger dealer organizations. Those numbers aren't mine--they are industry numbers. So, the best price now might not be the best price in the future.

I have been looking, and have not found a 36" dirt scoop yet for less than $300. This one is local.
