Is it a Hydo trans ?

I had a 2012 4720 open station old version of that same tractor & really liked the hydro for mowing nearly 30 acres of farm ground.

Yes, we will mostly be doing earth and forestry type work with it but will get a HD three point mower for brush. I do believe JD offers a shuttle shift on the 4 series but I've yet to see one when looking for this machine.

No idea when, so many parts need to be ordered and show up, then added. The salesman was off yesterday so maybe he'll give us some timeline. Not getting the ag tires I wanted. Maybe at some later date/year? A Backhoe was ordered.

Maybe you can find a used set on rims and swap them out.

I certainly understand making an initial payment to show your commitment, but I hope you don't have to make any more payments while it waits for parts?
