Temperature guage on 4055 was staying in middle of green section then all of a sudden it it jump to red and alarm went off. After a couple of seconds it went back to middle. Did this a couple of more times during the day. Each time it only lasted a couple of seconds. Any ideas.

Could be temp sensor or bad ground. Yrs back the temp gauge acted up so I installed a manual temp gauge mounted on top of dash.
