4010 mule 4x4 gas or diesel

My almost twenty year old Diesel Mule probably starts faster than a gasser even in extreme cold as long as you let the glow plugs do their thing. And when warm, you almost can't touch that starter fast enough. No messing around with a stupid choke that I really hate.

My Diesel vribrates terribly at idle, and I don't like stopping and starting it for short hops. I use my E-Gator for that, and it actually is the preffered vehicle, conditions permitting.

I forget what Diesel they had put in there. I have no doubt, it's high quality, just not one of your smoother running Diesels. I have an Onan Inverter Diesel Generator with a 3cyl Kubota, and with the cabinet open you could easily have a conversation at normal talking volume. I think it has a tuned exhaust. So, I know a quiet, smooth running Diesel isn't impossible. Maybe, the new Mules are better.

Unlike some people, I have no problem saying that something I own is lacking or even just plain junk, and that I got taken.

Maybe so about the new Mules - I've yet to go to a dealer but will eventually need to after I've narrowed down my choices.

On the last sentence of your post, that type of honesty is rare these days but much appreciated.
